Philosophy

Children are special individuals.  Each child will be accepted and appreciated in a safe, nurturing environment and will be encouraged to develop socially, cognitively emotionally, intellectually, and physically at his/her/ pace.  Children learn through active body, and five senses, curiosity and experience. Emphasis is given to the development of a child’s sense of self worth through an atmosphere of love and caring.

Purpose

The San Carlos Apache Tribe Child Care center is to provide increased quality and affordable child care services to low income families.

Priority

1. Enrolled tribal members who are attending job training, high school, college, educational training.  That qualifies on the state Median Income Chart.
2. Enrolled members that are employed and qualify on the state Median Income Chart.
3. (Emergency Care) for children of C.P.S. foster care children, depending on slots available.  Fees will be exempt over income enrolled tribal members.
4. Non Tribal member.
